The work is illustrated with tissue-guarded frontispiece portraits and maps. Condition/Details: Bound in blindstamped brown cloth with gilt lettering to spine, this antique volume is a scarce history of the Presbytarian Church in the State of New York. The work is illustrated with a tissue-guarded frontispiece engraving depicting the Theological Seminary in Auburn. The volume shows external age/wear, with edgewear and chipping at ends of spine. The book is solidly bound with age-toned pages that show water markings and foxing. The book measures approximately 6" x 9 1/2" and contains 600 pages plus 8 pages of publisher's advertisements.
