Details/Condition: This original piece features a Chinese earthenware figurine of a brother and sister acrobat team. These two small children are attached along the front of their bodies, and feature decoratively painted clothing with a clear glaze. The little boy is holding an antique Chinese coin in his hand and the little girl has a ball on her foot, which stabilizes the figurine. This item has a pottery mark on the side of the girl's body, as shown in the images accompanying this lot. This lot is one of several featuring Chinese artwork and collectible items throughout this catalog. This collection generally shows well, with some light external age/wear.

This limited edition volume is numbered 456 of 1,600 copies printed by R. & R. Clark, with copperplate engravings by A. Alexander and Son. This work features engravings by Thomas Poulton and Charles Sigrist, including a frontispiece portrait of Walton, and several full-page portraits throughout, as well as in-text engravings of fish, featuring some color stenciling. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with age-toned pages. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 8.25" and contains 631 pages.
