A newspaper article containing a quotation by Daniel F. Paker has been pasted to the rear of the front board of album that contains letters (together with what seem to be commercial labels promoting Packer's soap). This soap was apparently recommended by doctors as a shampoo and complexion soap in many minor skin and scalp troubles.
