Condition/Details: Bound in blue cloth-backed boards with bright silver embossing, this volume is a scarce collection of the British author's short fiction over a thirty-year period. Prawer, who has received the Booker Prize for Fiction, and two Academy Awards for her screenwriting on Merchant-Ivory film productions, lived in India between 1951 and 1975, and has written extensively on her experiences in the subcontinent. The work is signed by the author on the title page. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. Dustjacket is in glassine cover.
